Welcome to our new 2026 gubernatorial polls page! Below, you’ll find polling averages for the most important elections this fall, as well as a searchable database for nearly every race.
For now, there are averages for five states, with more to come as polling increases. In Texas, incumbent Greg Abbott has a maintained sizable lead despite the Lone Star State’s close Senate race. In Florida, the contest for the state’s open seat starts out relatively close by Florida standards. Ohio looks to be the most competitive race so far, while Democrats hold sizable leads in the less heavily polled states of Arizona and Georgia.
